Quality

(Noun)

The ability to establish a climate of confidence among consumers by increasing food safety testing and ensuring the traceability of products.
Quality can involve many factors. Our standards are unwaveringly strict when it comes to food hygiene. A longstanding proven track record in stringent quality norms, rigorously monitored every day by all those working in the sector, from dairy farm to supermarket shelf, ensures we can deliver safe, quality dairy products to consumers.

Further strengthening quality standards is one of the commitments in the France Terre de Lait initiative, which pledges to constantly optimise monitoring through prevention and surveillance, and in the event of contamination, through follow-up investigation methods. The Cniel has an important role to play by pooling research to initiate large scale projects, sharing findings within the sector, and making the information available to all concerned.
